What’s really going on?
The more stories I write, the more I hone in on what kinds of characters I like to write. I’m a strong personality. An only child who has spent most of her early years working in male-dominated fields.

Only by finding my passion as a writer and ultimately a Romance Author did I immerse myself in the estrogen pool of beautiful female friends. By reading and writing romance, I’ve learned more about my wants and needs, and I’ve broken taboo barriers for others by letting them know their desires are healthy and normal through my stories.
When I read, I like alpha males: Dominant, growly, “mine” personalities.
When I write, I’ve found my men have that personality, but typically it’s in the privacy of the bedroom. Soft dominance is hot. A man who reads and then gives his woman exactly what it is she needs to become a better version of herself because SHE wants to. Many of my FMC are hard to like and love. Unlike a lot of romance, I often write flawed FMCs and hot MMCs who are patient and kind, but not doormats. They are Dominant in the bedroom, but not overly kinky. Soft kink / soft dominance – nothing that requires a bunch of TW/CWs.
Another thing about my style of writing: Even my “full-length” novels are short. Simple fact is this: I don’t do drama in my real life. I’ll turn my back and walk away in a heartbeat. So I have no desire to write characters taking a bunch of unnecessary shit off each other to be happy. Often they battle their own demons or team up and battle their external forces together quickly. You won’t get 6 chapters of “will I / won’t I” in my books. (never-say-never)
